Wild nights

Yesterday, Stockholm celebrated the annual Nobel Prize Award Cermonies. Dear Jean, however, celebrated the memory and birthday of American poet Emily Dickinson (December 10, 1830 – May 15, 1886).

Wild nights! Wild nights!
Were I with thee,
Wild night should be
Our luxury!

Futile the winds
To a heart in port –
Done with the compass,
Done with the chart.

Rowing in Eden!
Ah! The sea!
Might I but moor
Tonight in thee!

thankyou for celebrating emily, her “caution to the wind” passion is unmatched.

Thank you, Mia. Emily truly was a free spirit. As relevant yesterday and today as tomorrow.
